Requirements:

  • Current Class A CDL
  • 23 Years of Age or Older
  • Current DOT Physical
  • Minimum 2 years of experience OTR
  • Good safety record and driving history
  • Tractors must pass DOT inspection and be ELD compliant
  • Trailers must pass DOT inspection

1. When and how do I get paid?
Weekly settlements are direct deposited every Friday.
3. Do you have any bonuses?
YES. Referral bonuses of $500 per referral after 90 days of active employment.
4. How much is your insurance and deductibles?
General liability and cargo insurance is provided and paid for by MP Carriers with a $2,500 deductible.
5. What is your average length per haul?
600 miles.
6. Where do you run?
Primarily, MP Carriers operates in the midwest, south and northeast United States.
7. How does your dispatch system work?
Our team works closely with you to find and offer you the best loads as possible.
8. Can I decline loads?
Loads are offered to you through our central dispatch. We work very hard to attain and offer you quality loads that pay well. Yes, you have the ability to decline a load.
9. Do you have fuel cards?
Yes, we provide TCS fuel cards, for use at any TA and Petro.
10. How long is orientation?
Orientation lasts for 1 day in Chicago, IL.
11. How much do you advance?
We do not give cash advances we do pay on time every Friday.
12. If I need a trailer, what types of trailers are available for rent?
2018 and newer 48’ flatbed and 53’ dry van trailers are available.
13. Does the equipment come with the trailer?
No, you have to bring your own equipment for Flatbed – Dry van
14. How often can I get home?
Our most successful contractors stay out 2-3 weeks. As an owner/operator it is your decision how frequently you arrange to return home.
